COVID: Patient safety information

Safety is our main priority

Our priority is the safety of our patients and team here at Harley Street Specialist Hospital.

We remain open as normal during this lockdown, with measures in place to protect everyone visiting our hospital.

If you have any sports injuries, joint pain or trauma, do not hesitate to get in touch and one of our experienced doctors will be available for consultation either face to face or via virtual means. Our theatres remain fully operational with robust measures in place to make your experience a safe one.

Patient testing

All patients are screened prior to proceeding for consultation with a comprehensive Covid assessment.

If you are having surgery, a Covid test will be required before attending your operation and a period of self-isolation.

One of our friendly receptionists will check patients’ temperatures on arrival and provide a face mask that must be worn while visiting the hospital.

Communal areas have been arranged to maintain social distancing.

All clinical areas are thoroughly cleaned between patients and hand gel is provided in all areas.

All staff will wear the appropriate personal protective equipment to ensure your safety.

We politely request that friends and family refrain from attending with patients. If there is a need, please let a member of our team know.

If you have concerns about travelling to your appointment, we can book a remote consultation by telephone or video. If you have private medical insurance, your insurance provider is likely to cover the cost of this appointment, but please check with them first.

Staff Testing

We have taken extensive measures to ensure the hospital remains a Covid-free or ‘green’ site with weekly testing and daily screening of all of our staff.

Our team and consultants understand this is a worrying time for patients, so if you have any further questions, please call us on 020 4513 2244 or email enquiries@HSSH.health.
