Mr. Abd Alazeez completed his degree at Cairo University, then completed his master’s degree in Urology at the same institution. Thesis subject was around the resection of benign prostatic hyperplasia using a surgical endoscope in large prostate sizes. Subsequently, he completed his MD(Res) at University college London where he researched the role of multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of prostate cancer. He has since undertaken extensive urological training at some of the largest urological centers in the UK, including Bristol and Cambridge University Hospitals, where he completed an RCS accredited Robotic Surgery Fellowship in Prostate Cancer Resection. He also shares his experience and supervises junior doctors in the field of robotic surgery.
Mohamed Abd Alazeez has expertise in diagnosing and treating prostate and bladder cancers, benign prostate conditions and general urology. He sub-specializes in robotic oncology and has performed nearly 400 successful robotic prostatectomy and cystectomy procedures.
With exceptional patient care as a top priority, Mr. Abd Alazeez is excited to continue expanding his knowledge in this field. He does this by attending conferences and webinars both locally and internationally. He has published several researches in national and international scientific journals, and as a result he is up to date with the latest developments in diagnostic and treatment techniques for urological diseases, especially urological cancers.
